4th Moto-vation race at Coombe

                                                        MOTO-VATION ROAD RACE SERIES
Tim Wright kept his third place overall intact when finishing fourth in the latest race in Kidlington Runners Moto-Vation Road Race Series at Coombe last week. The Banbury Harrier never looked to trouble the winner and series leader Dave Bruce of Highgate Harriers in a field of nearly 250 starters. The numbers down on previous races this owing perhaps for two reasons the holiday period arriving and this being a consecutive race at Coombe.
The Banbury area clubs thou provided over thirty of the field, the next to finish in 23rd place was Hook Norton Harrier Dave Tame, close behind followed Cherwell’s Dan Pebody. Two other Cherwell Runners followed close behind in 28th place teenager Henry Sleight and in 30th place Ian Thomas. Also from Cherwell came Darren Nichol in 60th and Andy Sleight in 64th place. Pete Greiveson was second Banbury Harrier home in 71st place, then came Andy Morris of Hook Norton in 76th and Neil Frape of Banbury Harriers in 81st
The series concludes at the end of the month at Marston Oxford.
