Once again the performance was spearheaded by the running of Ros Kelling and Michelle Bartlett the duo finishing fourth and fifth overall. In the large field of starters they received excellent support from Kerry Clarke finishing 22nd and Rebecca Biegel in 30th place.
The male equivalent race also showed a number of useful runs by Harriers members. Tim Wright finished 10th and one place behind Tom Offord. Veteran Simon Pritchard in 23rd place was more than satisfactory. Also in the top 100 which gave a fair team placing, Matt Cotton in 69th place, Adam Crofts 75th and Phil Coy 83rd.
In the younger age group races young Skip Snelson just failed to make it three wins out of three, when finishing in second place in the under eleven boys race. He was caught close to the line by Angus Williams of Chilton A.C, the pair had finished in reverse order at Watford last month.
In the other young age races Emily Thompson finished 5th in the under fifteen girls, Emma Simpkin 7th in the U17/20 girls race and in the Luke Sherlock 6th and William Thompson 8th seventeen boys race.
