Dave Bruce of Highgate Harriers won the 21st running of Cherwell Road Runners promoted Hornton Six on Saturday. The course starting at Hornton and winding around the country roads past the previous Ironstone Works and onto Horley and back to the start had its usual 150 plus starters.
Bruce won from last year’s winner James Bolton from Woodstock Road Runners with a winning time of 32minutes 42 seconds.
The winner of the woman’s race was Michelle Pank of Alchester Runners.
