Kidlington match

More records tumbled on 14th November as our young Harriers put in another terrific performance during the 2nd Sports Hall event of the season at Kidlington. Leading the way were the under-15 girls, producing yet another winning performance, but there were also good performances from the under-11’s where the mixed boys and girls team finished 3rd and the under-13 mixed boys and girls team who finished 2nd.

In the under-11 boys the talented duo of Oliver Clamp and Christopher Charles led the way winning the long jump. Charles, alongside Jack Keay added a second place finish in the 3 lap and alongside Charlie Evans a 3rd place in the Javelin. In the girls events Tegan Armstrong, Inka Moyaert, Maddi Dowden and Katie Corbett finished 2nd overall in the 1 lap, whilst Armstrong alongside Elizabeth Anderson jumped well to take victory in the long jump and also threw well with Nikola Bishop to achieve a similar success in the Javelin.

In the under-13 boys Oskar Moyaert and Giano Winkler scored well with second place in the 1 lap and then gained maximum points in the shot. Billy M-Brook also performed well to gain two 3rd places in the Speed bounce and 6 lap. In the girls the highest finish of the day was from Matilda Donaghy and Emilina Darvell in the Shot as they gained a very good second place and there were also 3rd place finishes for Maddi Cooper and Holly Dowden in the Speed Bounce and then Donaghy and Cooper in the Long Jump.

That left the under-15 girls to star yet again as Emily Thompson produced another record run in the 4 lap and followed it up alongside Abbey Anson to break the Paarlauf record too! Anson also tasted victory in the 2 lap event, followed home in second place by Evie Hawkins with both girls then also sharing top spot in the long jump. Rebecca Scott and Lily Hamp completed the top 3 in the 4 lap behind Thompson in an event dominated by Harriers and Harriers domination was again evident in the Shot as Anson won ahead of Paige Cooper and Victoria Harte to record her second 60 point return in just two matche
