Starting with the county results Will Brown ran well for 17th position in the under-9’s before Tilly Lainchbury and Eimear Moss finished 22nd and 35th respectively in the under-11 girls. Lizzie Eskender and Mia Berridge finished 21st and 27th respectively in a hard fought under-13 girl’s race before Angus Pollock powered to 6th place finish in the under-13 boys event with Stanley Bull again impressing in 12th.
One of the stars of the day was Jenny Hannah who took an excellent victory in the under-15 girls with Tia Williams running another exceptional race for 3rd place. In the boys event Blaine Carpenter and Owen Knox ran well for 10th and 12th places respectively. Emily Thompson was up next in the under-17 women taking the silver medal despite being in the lower year group and was followed by Rosie Lord who just missed out on a medal running a fantastic race for 4th place.
In the combined under-20, senior women and vets race Rosie Weston produced an excellent display to finish 12th overall and 4th under-20. Michelle Bartlett then showed her quality to finish 2nd V2 and 44th overall. In the men’s event Tim Wright was our only county entrant and finished a creditable 17th overall.
In the Oxon mail scoring the most notable result not already mentioned was from Skip Snelson in the under-13 boys who finished second with yet another impressive run which leaves him well placed in the 5 race series
