It was great to see the number of runners dressing up for this year's Canter. however we still managed to "walk" away with the prize for best fancy dress, as we have done for the past 6 years. Also well done to Roz for coming 2nd W45 dressed as a tree. This year's theme was the Wizard of Oz and though Michelle always says "it's all about the photo" we do still have to run 7 miles of tough cross country. it's only when you start running you find that oil cans cause blisters, ivy whips every passing runner, tall hats get caught in bushes and long dresses are not easy over styles. However the conditions this year were good and many of our team had good runs and faster than usual times.
