18 brave the cold
We had a great turnout of 18 runners for the Hooky Canter on Sunday (12 percent of the total). It was very cold going out into the wind and the roads were like ice but across the fields, on the way back, it was like a summer’s day!!! For those who had 4 layers on anyway. We also gained some prizes with Christmas puddings for Ros, Julie, Bruce & Vicci. Caitlin also had a good run, over a long distance for her, and was one of the very few to brave it in vest & shorts.
Results are below with a full set on the Hooky web site. If you have a look at the gallery there are some photos of us as well. Look at photos 691 & 694? Is it me or are they flying? Is Pete "The last samurai"? No wonder they ran so well!
