Phil Coy was the only harrier to complete the East Midlands road race series. He came 2nd in the V55 age group overall. Phil did the 8 races (from 5m to 10k) over 9 weeks with the best 5 positions counting towards the result.
A number of harriers ran the Adderbury half marathon on the 10th July. The day was very hot and the race hilly & cross country. well done to Tim Wright for winning the race in a fantastic time considering the conditions. Harrers results were Tim Wright 1.19.50 , Michelle Bartlett 1.43.01 , Pete Grieveson 1.43.16 , Phil Bevis 1.50.17 , Tony Petruso 1.54.22 and Doug Scott 2.11.58 Well done to all of them.

The next day Simon Pritchard and Phil Coy ran the Didcot 5. The day was much cooler for the 9.30 race start, with the race being over allmost flat paths and cycle tracks around Didcot, starting and finishing with a lap of the sports field. Simon came 13th overall and 5th V40 in a time of 29.18 and Phil was 30th overall and 4th V50 in a time of 32.05.
