This page links to a set of codes required for the sucessful running of Banbury Harriers.

Everyone involved with Banbury Harriers, from coaches, athletes, parents, officials etc should be aware of these codes and act by them at all times. Excerts of the codes are included for information. 

Code of conduct.

The public has the right to expect the highest standards from Banbury Harriers AC, no matter how they come into contact with us. As a member of Banbury Harriers you will be expected to maintain those standards at all times when in contact with the public. 

Parents code of conduct

This code sets out the conduct expected of parents and guardians. 

Safeguarding children 

Our aim is to create an environment in which the young athlete (child) and their parent(s), guardian, responsible adult, carer, closest relative, can feel confident that the Athletic Club is providing a safe and wholesome setting for all participants in the sport of athletics.

Constitution 

This document sets out  the aims and objectives of the club as well as its identity. 

Dicipline and appeals process

 

This document has been produced to provide a clear process to follow whilst dealing with misconduct complaints within the Club environment.  

Disiplinary / Appeal hearing guidance

Where an individual has breached the Club Constitution or Club Code of Conduct, this guidance is designed to assist the Club Disciplinary/Appeal Panel Chair to conduct hearings appropriately and to provide guidance to the possible outcomes and panel decisions.

Health and safety policy

Banbury Harriers AC has a duty of care to all its coaches, volunteers and members. We accept that this is a duty imposed by law on all individuals and organisations to avoid carelessly causing injury to persons.
