Banbury 15 course:
Is mostly on country roads, please run on the left except where indicated otherwise by Marshall’s. There is a section near to the start & finish where we require you to run on the footpath please do not run in the road. You will find the course fairly fast but there are sizeable hills about 1.5, 2.5, 6 & 11 miles. Drinks will be available at about 4, 8 & 11 miles (Cropredy Village). Finally the course will be narrow at the start, so please allow faster runners to start at the front in the interest of safety and good sportsmanship.
Last year runners were seen on the right hand side of a straight road, if seen again runners will be disqualified.
Numbers:
All numbers are printed Banbury 15. Do not panic if you have entered the 2 mile race.
Refreshments: Sports Massage:
will be on sale in the sports hall. Available in main hall
All 15 Mile Finishers will get a Memento.
Final Word:
It is a pleasant scenic course, so enjoy the race, take care, keep to the left, follow the Marshall‘s instructions with good grace and try to minimise any possible objection to the future running of the race.
