Here are details and an entry form for this years Motavation. You must be a club member for the 2014 season to use this form. I have circulated this round to past runners of the series and anyone else I can think of. I will also put copies of the entry form on the noticeboard in the club house. Please note at the bottom of this email arrangements for paying entry fees as they are different to previous years. Please also note that I have been advised that they are looking into swapping over the dates for the Charlton and Bletchingdon races due to concerns that Charlton parking might not be dry enough by the beginning of May. I will keep you posted if this is the case.
This is a special arrangement entry form with a reduced rate for the series of £16.50 and is only eligible for ALL those club entries sent off together. Would you therefore let either Andy or Michelle have your entries by no later than Thursday 3rd April.
We are entitled to the discounted entry fee because of an agreement that some of the local clubs have with Kidlington Running & Athletic Club in providing one or two marshals (as required) to each of the races. In the past this has been achieved by either volunteers or when necessary our competing runners having to marshal one of the races. Therefore could you please let either Andy or Michelle know if you are willing to help with marshalling (if required) at one of the races and what dates you would be available, or if you know of any non-runner who would be willing to help out. There are 5 races in the series so the rate of £16.50 is an excellent rate even if you had to miss a couple of races (whether it be for marshalling or any other reason).
Please note that Kidlington Running & Athletic Club would be unable to continue with the Mota-vation Series without the help in marshalling from the Local Clubs which would be a shame as its an excellent series that a lot of our club members have enjoyed for many years.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR CHEQUES should be made payable to “Banbury Harriers” in the sum of £16.50
as the club have been asked to make one single payment to Kidlington Runners. (If you’d rather pay by cash, would you please let either Andy or Michelle have it with your entry form).
