Wobbler and Trembler

It was a bright sunny and windy Sunday morning that saw a group

ros

of Harriers line up for the StratfordAC Wobbler and Trembler cross country races. The course was all you would expect from a cross country, including 2 long hard hills per lap and uneven muddy ground. Also a few things you would not expect including cows, vast quantities of what cows leave behind and out of control dogs.

Gregor Kelling started well on the 1 lap Trembler but after following the leaders the wrong way and twisting an ankle over a fence still managed 15th out of 63 entrants. Tony Petruso was up for the 2 lap Wobbler but was forced out after 1 lap with an injury. He still finished in the top half of the Trembler.

In the Wobbler Ros Kelling, Michelle Bartlett and Rebecca Biegel made a clean sweep of the F45 category with Ros taking the prize for 2nd lady and 10th overall and Michelle 3rd lady and 22nd overall.

Other Harriers competing in the Wobbler were Pete Grieveson 23rd, Phil Coy 31st, Niel Forbs 45th, Niel Frape 51st, and Andy Bartlett 80th out of 118 finishers.
