It is important to note; the bullet points at the bottom of this letter, that the closing date is the 30th April and to read and understand all the information on the prospectus, before filling in the entry form at the end.
"OXFORDSHIRE/ BUCKINGHAMSHIRE AA COMBINED TRACK and FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The above championships are upcoming, and will be held at Horspath Track on Saturday and Sunday 23/24 May. The prospectus is on the Oxfordshire AA website. There are changes from last year:
. There are no Masters events (there are plans afoot for a Masters Championship later in the summer; all Masters will compete in the Seniors competition).
. All athletes must register for each event at least 3/4 hour beforehand; and MUST register on BOTH days.
. There can normally be no change of events once the closing date has passed.
. There are no steeplechases on either day (there were few entries last year, making the event not really feasible).
. There will be no acceptance of late entries; if you are worried, arrange for recorded delivery or by hand!
. All athletes and coaches are asked to carefully read Rule 107 - which states how many and which events can be competed in on the same day.
. Any athlete NOT giving a PB will be seeded to the slowest races; or assumed not to have competed in the event previously! The championships are NOT the place to try an event for the first time!
