Our annual Banbury 15 (now renamed as The Geoff Smith's 15) and Fun Run is due to take place on Sunday 20th March 2016.
We desperately require as many volunteers as possible please to either marshal or look after a water station for this race. No previous experience is necessary. If you are willing to help out throughout the morning of this race, would you please either email Banbury15@hotmail.co.uk or put your name down on the list in the club house. It would be helpful if you could also let us know if you have access to a car for when we come to sort out marshal positions.
The main race is a 15 mile road race starting and finishing in Spiceball Park, heading out along the Southam Road to Great Bourton, Cropredy, looping up around Appletree before returning along the same route. This race starts at 10.30am.
The Fun Run is open to all ages and is within Spiceball Park. There is a choice of either one lap (approx 1 mile) or two laps (approx 2.5 miles). Entries for this are by donation on the day (there are no numbers or times recorded for the fun runs) and they both start at 10.40am.
In order for these events to be held we need a total of 60 or more volunteers.
